Women of the Word (WOW)
This ministry, established in September 1991, has blessed many women over the years. The emphasis has been on personal Bible study, prayer and fellowship. WOW meets at Lakeside on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 am to 11:30 am from mid September to early May.

Do
you find it tough being a woman? If so, our WOW study for this fall is
designed for you. The study is entitled, "Esther, It's Tough Being a
Woman." Beth Moore writes and presents this DVD study with her usual
passion for Christ and for Bible study.
God has been speaking to us from Isaiah 43:19, "Behold, I will do something new...Will you not be aware of it?" Our WOW retreat on July 13th gave evidence of some new ideas. WOW will be appearing on Facebook—thanks to Dana McMahon. Ann Bishop and Karen Frybort prepared and distributed flyers about our early kick-off event on September 7th. Contact us for details (see below). Come and be "Queen for a Day". Our regular study will commence on September 14th at Lakeside.
Beth Moore acknowledges the challenges women face in the world today and uses Biblical principles to encourage and equip us to live victoriously. Please prayerfully consider joining us.
